Square Dancers from Arizona visit San Juan Squares

Monday, April 7, 2008 we received the visit of over 20 fellow square dancers from Arizona. Members from the San Juan Squares club danced with visitors from 3:00 PM until after 5:00 PM at Plaza Colon in Old San Juan. This was the first time our newest members had the opportunity to dance to a caller. We thank callers Bob Jones,Ivan and Monica Rae Stein for their time and singing. and providing us with a happy dancing experience. Special thanks to Pat Jones, who contacted us to coordinate this activity. And last but not least, thanks to all our members who made this activity possible.
We also are grateful to the sponsors for this activity, the San Juan Municipality and Cafe Berlin, in Old San Juan.
