Square Dancers from Arizona visit San Juan Squares

Monday, April 7, 2008 we received the visit of over 20 fellow square dancers from Arizona. Members from the San Juan Squares club danced with visitors from 3:00 PM until after 5:00 PM at Plaza Colon in Old San Juan. This was the first time our newest members had the opportunity to dance to a caller. We thank callers Bob Jones,Ivan and Monica Rae Stein for their time and singing. and providing us with a happy dancing experience. Special thanks to Pat Jones, who contacted us to coordinate this activity. And last but not least, thanks to all our members who made this activity possible.
We also are grateful to the sponsors for this activity, the San Juan Municipality and Cafe Berlin, in Old San Juan.

San Juan Squares fue invitado a participar de la celebración del sexto aniversario del Programa Renacer Dorado, auspiciado por la Biblioteca Pública de Bayamón. Bailamos un baile en línea, además de 4 bailes de Square Dance. Al final, el público participó del baile en línea, el Electric Slide. Agradecemos a todos los bailarines su contribución al éxito de esta actividad.

Visit from New York

On January 14, 2008 we received the visit of fellow square dancers from New York state. We thank Dorothy, Lou and Rick for sharing with us that night. We enjoyed talking and dancing with them. Here are some photos of this night.

Nuevo Curso de Clases

El lunes 14 de enero de 2008 comenzó un nuevo curso de clases de Square Dance. Te invitamos a unirte a nosotros y a participar de estas clases completamente gratis. Square Dance es el baile nacional de los Estados Unidos de América, y se puede bailar en Europa, Asia, América, visitando los miles de clubes existentes. Puedes también visitarnos los lunes a las 6:00 PM en el Centro Comunal de Río Piedras Heights, entrando por el Garaje Gulf de la Calle Paraná (El Señorial Shopping Center).
